Harry Edward Styles, known as Harry Styles in the world of pop music. under the name Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer known as one of the musicians of the group One Direction. He was born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England on February 1, 1994, Harry Styles is the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school where along with three fellow students, formed the group he was a part of, White Eskimo. In 2009, they took part in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their excellent presentations they were winners. Despite having always shown interest in music the man also had a dream of becoming an attorney or physiotherapist. In order to support his loved ones, he volunteered for some time as a part-time worker at a local baker. Harry Styles was selected for The X Factor 2010 audition during which he performed the Stevie Wonder's song Is not She Lovely. This is why his group was forced to break up. The audition was held on The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles join an upcoming group which would be named One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. Simon Cowell was the sponsor of this group, which began in 2010. The group sang songs such as My Life Would Suffer Without You, by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the contest. It made them one of the possible winners for the coveted prize. However, they finished third position behind Rebecca Ferguson, and the winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell were not able to win the competition. However, Cowell offered Harry Styles a 2 million dollar contract with Syco.
